Other Notable Champions

The Border Security Force are the third-most successful team in Durand Cup history with seven titles between 1968 and 1988. Their 1976 triumph was shared jointly with JCT after two drawn finals, a rare occurrence in the competition’s history. JCT themselves won five titles and reached seven finals, giving them the unwanted record of the most runner-up finishes relative to wins among the top contenders.
Salgaocar FC hold a unique record as the only team to have never lost a Durand Cup final, winning all three of their appearances in 1999, 2003, and 2014.
Hyderabad City Police won the first post-independence edition in 1950 and added three more titles, including their 1961 triumph under the new identity of Andhra Pradesh Police.
